As a
Bookkeeper, your primary responsibility is to provide remote administrative support to clients or organizations in managing their financial records and ensuring accurate bookkeeping practices. Your role involves various tasks, including maintaining financial records, reconciling accounts, processing invoices, and assisting with financial reporting. Your attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to maintain confidentiality are essential for success in this position. Your bookkeeping expertise and experience in ERP and QuickBooks will contribute to the smooth financial operations of your clients or organization.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate financial records, including ledger entries, invoices, and receipts.
  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy in financial transactions.
  • Process invoices, expenses, and payments in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and manage financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
  • Provide support in tax preparation and filing.
  • Collaborate with clients or internal teams to resolve financial discrepancies.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in bookkeeping.

 

Desirable Skills and Experience:

Must-haves:

  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper at least 2-3 years 
  • Proficiency in bookkeeping software, including ERP systems and QuickBooks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
 

 

Nice to haves:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance procedures.
  • Experience working with multiple clients or accounts.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific bookkeeping practices.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
